Description
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is an emergency mental health intervention designed to help individuals recognize a crisis and connect someone with appropriate support and resources. Similar to CPR, QPR provides practical skills that can help save lives.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize the warning signs of suicide.
- Offer hope and support to someone who may be struggling.
- Connect individuals with help and appropriate professional resources.
- Use QPR techniques to identify a crisis and take effective action.聽

This certified training is offered as part of the 2026 MUS Mental Health & Wellbeing Summit: Building Cultures of Care. Registration is free, but seating is limited. Individuals who register after the training reaches capacity will be placed on a waiting list.
